Earlier today the Guild had another fantastic visit, this time around York Handmade Bricks. It was fascinating seeing the whole process from the quarry at the back of the site to the stacks of bricks fired and ready to be delivered. Many thanks to Guy Armitage for the fascinating tour.

Handmade bricks are always better than those from a machine. As an engineer, I have a lot of experience when it comes to both, which is why I can say this for a fact. I hope that people can understand the difference between the two, because there is a big difference. I feel like it is going to take a while before they can understand it. This is a great way to start a discussion about them, that is for sure. Leave a Reply. |
